2018 International Transgender Day of Remembrance and Empowerment

For the fifth year, the ladies of TAKE produced a community-wide event to remember and celebrate transgender lives. Pilgrim Church was one of the sponsors of this year’s event.
The show featured community members from across the city.
Lady Topaz was one of the performers who inspired the crowd.
Coco Chanel Starr is beautiful and poised as ever.
TAKE founder and executive director Daroneshia Duncan-Boyd presided over the evening.
Participants remembered those lost to violence and stigma from around the world.
The light of those we lost this year continues to burn in our hearts and prayers.
